Sources close to the Today Show confirmed yesterday that Hoda Kotbe and Kathie Lee Gifford, hosts of the fourth hour of the Today Show, may no longer be hosting together.
"There's been friction there since Kathie Lee joined the show," says a Today insider. "She came on the set and acted like the star, immediately alienating many of the cast."
According to the source, Hoda has taken an immense dislike to Kathie Lee, "but you would never know it to watch them on television. Hoda's so professional, no one would guess that she hates Kathie Lee."
Kotbe has apparently told show producers that if Gifford is not terminated from the show, Kotbe will resign by the end of the month.
