A prisoner in a Federal penitentiary near Boston, William Horton, was granted a furlough by the US prison authorities. Mr Horton then went on a violent crime spree of horrendous proportions.
Democratic Governor Dukakis of Massachusetts who had nothing to do with the furlough was victimized by one of the most vicious race baiting attacks from Attwater (Rove's mentor) Republicans.
In a shocking reappearance in American presidential politics, Horton has reemerged in the form of a Republican black elephant. The dark pachyderm tells the American voter that he remembers the carelessness of Democ-Rats and that he can hear what's what and who's who: "I can smell a rat and sometimes it takes a brutha to spot a phony brutha. be afraid, white America...be very afraid. You should not have released Willie Horton and you must not vote for that one, B. Hussein Obama...rhymes with Osama!"
