Bob Muppet pens another 'Spoof ' blockbuster

Bob Muppet, a humble contributor to the highly successful on-line satirical site TheSpoof.com, was shocked when he woke up to find that his story about Jimi Hendrix's ghost had been read by 6 billion readers.

This was a total surprise to Bob, because his other stories usually attracted a following in the low tens - that is tens as in 10's, rather than tens of thousands.

Bob Muppet follows in a long line of British writers who have been highly regarded by the reading public, and Spoof insiders have drawn parallels between Dickens's early works and his output.

Bob remains unaffected by his unaccustomed triumph and assured the management of TheSpoof.com that he would continue to write for the prestigious web site.

Mark Lowton, Managing Director confessed that the large number of hits had put a severe strain on his computer servers, so much so that he had to use fans to keep them from overheating.

TheSpoof.com management have also been forced to limit the number of hits that stories get by printing a disclaimer at the bottom of all stories that they are not real stories i.e. ------

All material on TheSpoof.com is parody or satire. All contributors are responsible for the content of their own material in respect to (but not limited to) copyright, libel and defamation.

But we know that it is not true!

Any resemblance to any private individuals, living or dead is tough!

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
