Promising play ended in tragedy

Funny story written by Alfred B

Sunday, 11 May 2008

A play written by talented playwright Rodney Loomis seemed destined to end up as a family comedy to be enjoyed by everyone. But sources now report that this will not come to be, as young Rodney Loomis broke his left arm while emptying the garbage yesterday outside his home in Malvern, Worcestershire.

Rodney Loomis, being left-handed and doing all writing in longhand, will not be able to finish the play anytime in the near future. However, this occurrence has inspired another playwright, Rodey's untalented brother Ethan, to write a play of his own.

"My play is about a bloke who falls down and breaks his arm before he's able to finish writing a play," Ethan Loomis informs us.

The play is predicted to be finished by July and critics claim, be enjoyed by no one.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
