The latest series of the 'cult' television show The Apprentice was last night thrown into chaos when after a tense boardroom battle, Sir Alan Sugar was voted off.
His loyal aides for the last twenty five years, Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford were both stunned and shocked as he dramatically left the series. An angry Sugar was seen sat in the back of a black cab shouting abuse at pedestrians and telling the driver to 'keep his eyes on the f*cking road'.
Sir Alan, later seen with Adrian Chiles on The Apprentice - You've been Fired which goes out on BBC2 immediately after was clearly still fuming at his sudden and dramatic departure.
This is not the first time that high brow reality TV has made the headlines.
Multimillionaire and Dragons Den panellist Deborah Meaden 'actually' made an investment in one of the entrepreneurs. Duncan Bannatyne was said to be 'speechless but also delighted'. Whilst Peter Jones said he was 'utterly amazed' prompting Theo Paphitis to conduct an impromptu 'Mexican wave'.
