In a desperate bid to rescue the struggling talent show American Idol, Miley Cyrus has been asked to appear as a judge and to sing a few of her hits.
Simon Cowell, grumpy and old British judge, said: "She is definitely one of the greatest talents the entertainment world has ever seen or heard. We are honoured to have her on the show - I mean she has had a hot in every decade since the 1950s and has evolved effortlessly and sublimely."
Puzzled by this statement, this website pushed Cowell as to how on earth a teenager could have such a long career. "Diana Ross isn't a teenager you idiot." Cowell retorted.
We pointed out that we had been talking about Miley Cyrus, the singing and acting teenage sensation. Cowell, who is 94 blind, incontinent and nearly entirely deaf replied: "That's an island in the Mediterranean isn't it?"
With Ryan Seacrest leaving and Cowell now showing himself to be past it, it is hard to see how the show can continue for much longer.
