Lex Luthor and Warner Bros. have been meeting over the last few weeks. Many have been speculating on whether or not, these meetings have to do with Michael Rosenbaum's portrayal of the billionaire bad boy.
Earlier this morning, it became apparent, what these meetings were about. Warner Bros. are set to create a new show for the CW. It is tentively titled, "Smallville: The Filming". Luthor is set to play the role of Michael Rosenbaum.
"I am really excited about this," says Luthor. "This is the one thing I have never done before. Own a majority of the world? Done. Cause unending mayhem and suffering? Done. Act on T.V.? Not yet, but I will be soon."
When asked why a man of his ego, didn't go for the lead role, his reply was, "What makes you think Rosenbaum isn't the lead? Besides he and I are the only two who can work the bald look convincingly. My only concern is, if I can capture that essence of goofy that exudes from Rosenbaum. Similar to how sophistication and money exude from me."
A spokesperson for Warner Bros. announced today, "Yes, Lex Luthor is officially signed on to play Michael Rosenbaum. Truth be told, there is only one character we have yet to cast. We are still searching for the part of Tom Welling. We would love for either Clark Kent or Kal-el to play him."
Neither Kent nor Kal-el could be reached for comment.
