Camden Town - (Infernal Mess): Babyshambles singer is rallying pals to stage a benefit gig for Camden's Whorely Arms which burnt down in a mysterious blaze this weekend.
The musician said he is "totally gutted" at the news his favorite boozer and crack-dealing den was destroyed.
The inferno caused and estimated £250 million damage to the narcotics industry alone as well as £200+ million to property.
London Mayor Ken Livingstone said the damage had created a massive black hole in the area's burgeoning local economy - as famous worldwide as Amsterdam's legendary weed-smoking cafes.
The Doherty concert will be held at the nearby Phoenix Arms on Valentine's Day and will feature North London's current and former resident musicians like the Gallagher brothers, Amy Winehouse, Boy George, the Anal Sphincter-Bypass Band and members of Madness.
The benefit night will also stage an auction of celebs' memorabilia including hotpants donated by Sadie Frost, Kelly Osbourne's brassieres, Kate Moss's hookah pipes and Amy Winehouse's husband's knuckledusters.
All proceeds will go towards the shattered pub landlord and his wife.
