J.K Rowling admitted to a group of English children today that Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts School, is gay. She outed the professor during a question and answer session with her young fans and readers and confirmed long speculated internet suspicions.
"Of course he's gay," she said. "Albus was packing the fudge with Minister Cornelius Fudge for years. Also, how come you think he was the only one that ever liked Severus or why did Snape always have that pinched look on his face and walk funny. His favorite student, who loves him like a grandfather, is named Harry. Harry's best friend is Weasley. Didn't anyone get the hints?"
Rowlong admitted that Dumbledore would have preferred Hogwarts as a boys school. "I had to have girls attending, however, to better my readership."
She also said that she originally created the character as a Catholic Priest, but moved him to the Potter series of books as she didn't want to take advantage of the Church's problems.
