Devoid of Jokes - Time's Running out for England and the Macster

The Sporting Spoof tipster, 'the Macster', has been adopted by the England Rugby Team as their lucky mascot following pre-match assessments of their quarter-final and semi-final battles against much stronger and accomplished opponents.

In both matches, the England team was expected to be sent packing by Australia and France, but following satirical pre-match assessments by theSpoof.com writer, the team overcame all odds and have found their way to the World Cup Final in the Stade de France, Paris on Saturday.

Time, however is running out for the Macster and the England team, as he tries to write a humorous article in readiness for TheSpoof editors to review it and post it onto the website before kick off tomorrow evening.

"I just can't think of anything funny to say," said the Macster despairingly and without even the slightest hint of amusement.

In the meantime, England hope and pray, as coach Brian Ashton has revealed to the team his plan 'B' which involves'playing rugby' in tomorrow's final.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
