Los Angeles, California - After Britney dropped off her kids at a Carl's Jr. fast-food restaurant chain, Carl's Jr. executives have gone into overdrive trying to brainstorm on how to capitalize on all the free publicity. Recently they turned to a public relations firm based in New York to help them translate increased foot traffic into sales and profits.
The public relations firm has decided to go with one of Britney's favorite food items that she orders nightly at the drive-thru after a late night (or early morning) of partying, the Carl's Jr. Famous Star.
"It just like a Famous Star, too. Only it comes without lettuce, tomatoes, pickles or parental responsibility," said the spokesman.
Carl's Jr. executives can only hope its enough as another famous fast-food chain restaurant is in the process of capitalizing on the Britney phenomena by introducing a new food product line of its own.
"Ours is based on our more popular 'Happy Meal," said a spokesman for McDonalds. "But we call it, 'The Britney Spears Dysfunctional Family (I'm not so happy where is my mommy) meal."
Also, instead of the traditional lead tainted toy that comes with the meal, the kids are given a disposable cell phone that enables them to make one free phone call for the length of one minute to any location in the continental United States, so they get hold of a relative to pick them up, should mommy forget.
"It's just our way of giving back to the community," said the McDonald's spokesman.
