Lord of the Rings star, Orlando Bloom, has recently announced that he will be having a plastic surgery in the near future. Not just any plastic surgery. Bloom, who played the elven prince Legolas in Lord of the Rings, will be having his ears stretched and shaped, to be more like his characters.
"I really miss the ears" he stated at a press conference earlier this week. "There was just something about them". Bloom wore synthetic, gelatine like ears on the set of LOTR, will be having extra cartilage added to give his ears the pointy shape. He has not said when the surgery will take place, but he hopes it will be soon.
"I am not sure how long I can wait to have pointy ears again".
Also with Bloom is Liv Tyler who played the elven maiden Arwen.
"I miss the ears too" she told us. "I am not sure if I want them back though. It would be a hassle, especially if it went wrong. I could end up looking like Dumbo".
Bloom ha made no comment on what his worries are if his surgery goes wrong. Let's hope for the sake of his fan girls it doesn't!
