London - (Rotters): Kylie Minogue is set to play Doctor Who's most deadly adversary in a BBC Xmas Special being filmed next month as a 'treat' for UK TV licence payers.
Minogue, 39, will star opposite David Tennant in a one-off festive special entitled Voyage of the Damned.
The plot revolves around assorted liposuction body parts siphoned off the antipodean crooner which mysteriously dissappear from a plastic surgery clinic only to reconfigure as a cannibalistic alien clone "out to eat the Doctor alive".
Minogue will play both parts as the real Kylie and the monstrous chimera which gestates in an NHS douche bag that is struck by lightning during a bizarre time warp glitch brought on by global warming.
"Not that different, then, to her acutal conception back in Melbourne in 1967, then," a BBC Light Entertainment source commented today.
No further details are available yet from the BBC which is said to be anxious not to spoil viewers' expectations by revealing too much of the plot in advance.
