(MUSICMAN PRESS) Former Republican Presidential hopeful, Bob Dole, said yesterday that he would be honored to take Bob Barker's position on The Price Is Right.
"Bob Dole would be honored and overjoyed if Bob Dole was asked to take Barker's place on the successful television show, The Price Is Right. Bob Dole and his wife would be pleased to be back if the eye of the public, but Bob Dole knows Bob Dole does not wish to be The President of the United States. That dream is no longer the focus of Bob Dole's life. It used to be but is no more." Dole stated yesterday, after a splendid luncheon at the Barker estate.
Mrs. Dole cheered her husband on saying, "He has just been dying to get back in publicity. I don't really care to be, but that's Bobby for you. [He's] always got a dream, a purpose, a reason to live."
When Dole was asked his option of Rosie O'Donnell he proclaimed, "Rosie, I knew Bob Barker, and you Missy are no Bob Barker."
Bob Dole also reminded us to, "Help control the pet population; or as Rosie would say, 'Help control the strait population!"
