Hollywood, CA -- CBS today announced it will launch another CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) spin-off. This time the popular, self-spawning show will take place in Brazil. Get ready for "CSI: Rio de Janeiro".
The newest installment will feature 'actors' Kate Millford, Playboy's Miss July 2006; and Tara Kutcheon, Penthouse Pet October 2005, playing detectives Jill Moroney and Faith Cooper, respectively.
"We decided to go with two lead female detectives," explained executive producer Michael Landis. "Who are we fooling? There's only one reason to watch another re-tread version of CSI."
The show will be filmed on-location in Rio, Brazil. The detectives will be under(some little) cover, of course. "This is Rio, after all," added camera 1 operator Lance Worth. "Debauchery will feature prominently in the show," he added, "and lots of beach shots. Think Baywatch with a body count".
