U2's Bono and the Edge announced last week that they would be penning the score to 'Spiderman' the Musical.
Not to be outdone Larry Mullen Jr and Adam Clayton have also decided to take on the bright lights of Broadway by writing the music to a hastily penned musical starring the three sexy little minxes from the Corrs.
"Yeah it's true" Larry confirmed today as he opened Adams 7th bag of peanuts of the hour in Dublin's Gresham Hotel bar,
"We don't have a title yet but it's gonna be bleedin' rapid, the sisters of sin as Adam calls em have been at us for a while now to write something for them and yer wan Andrea's told us that she's a bit of a lesbian now since she was in that film 'Baking bread'"
A quiet word from Larry's assistant Bridie cleared up the matter,
"Yeah lesbian, thesbian whats the feckin difference? Anyways an all an anyways it's about dese three lingerie model crime fighting sisters in Dublin who foil a kidnap attempt on Bill Clinton during the Ryder Cup, Bill's even going to do a few cameo appearances playing the sax"
When asked by a journalist from Rolling Stone magazine if he could elaborate on the plot Adam sprayed the attendant hacks with a mouthful of half chewed peanuts screaming:
"Plot? Plot??? We've got the friggin Corrs up there on stage 6 nights a week in high heels and f##k all else and you want a f#####g plot?
"Are you some kind of a bleedin knob jockey??
"F#####g plot my arse!!!
"Larry? Skin up there and get us another bag o nuts, I can't feel me legs."
No date has been given for the opening night as yet.
