Mumbai - (Reuterus): As the sun moves into the sign of Taurus the Bull and mighty Saturn ends its baleful retrograde transit of Leo Bollywood is preparing for the wedding of the century as its two greatest stars, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, prepare to celebrate their own nuptual conjunction.
Under the starry Mumbai skies at Bachchan's family residence the evening wedding ceremony will take place according to Hindu traditions.
These have been computed according to exacting astrological lore that focuses strongly on Aishwarya, a former Miss World.
The cosmic aspects link well to her natal compatibility of the day's quintile angle between fiery Mars - transiting Pisces - and Pluto, Lord of Riches and Lord of Karma - crossing the 28th degree of Sagittarius.
"This is a very creative angle and the married couple can make piles of cash under such a transit," said one starry advisor.
However, not all consultants are happy about relying on this major aspect and have warned that some stargazers have recently relegated Pluto to the astrological dustbin. In Indian astrology it still counts alot.
Looking at Bachchan's own birth chart there is a great affinity to the day's other major transit, a conjunction of the Moon and Venus in the sign of Gemini, the Twins.
"This will be fruitful for the couple and a brace of children can be expected very shortly after the marriage.
"Better insure against twins or even triplets. The stars are favorable for multiple births."
The day's major starry spectacle will be visible just after sunset as the young crescent moon dances in the western heavens with the shimmering Venus, goddess of love.
However, some minor lunar oppositions later in the day do not augur all that favorably for an entirely uneventful and large wedding gathering.
So it is understandable that some in the couple's inner circle will be attending the starry nuptuals.
Of those invited as close friends Anil Ambani - an industrialist, politician Amar Singh, as well as fellow actors Kajol and her husband Ajay Devgan, Preity Zinta and Sanjay Dutt.
The groom's family, along with parents Bollywood film superstar Amitabh Bachchan and famous actress mother turned politician, Jaya Bachchan will be there along with childhood friends, now film directors Apoorva Lakhia and Rohan Sippy.
But other big names such as top Bollywood stars Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Rani Mukherjee will be absent tomorrow.
Astrologers have advised the couple to keep it simple - apart from hiring 400 or so security guards who will watch over the day's proceedings as well as eleven priests who will be in charge of conducting the actual marriage ceremony.
"As above so below is the cosmic advice we offer the bride and groom. The stars show their favor but do not overdo it."
