"Even before that skinny Brit has set up a home on our shores," Simpson sniffed, "she's already grabbing up everything in sight."
Jessica, who had her own MTV Reality Show "Newlyweds" with former husband Nick Lachey, met with a Spoof reporter in New York City and expressed her displeasure that Victoria Beckham had landed a reality show on NBC. "Who will watch?" Simpson demanded, adding, "It's bad enough that she's coming. Who cares what she'll do when she gets here?" She went on to say that there's nothing more annoying than watching people with lots of money acquire more of it.
Simpson was quick to point out that when the New York City Madame Tussauds Museum recently set up wax figures of the Beckhams, many visitors didn't even know who they were. "I don't think the visitors cared either," she added. "So what's the reason NBC is giving Posh a reality show? Who do they think she is? Columbus coming to the New World?"
Looking at her watch, Jessica abruptly ended the interview, saying she had to get to a publicity gig in Times Square. Before leaving, she couldn't resist whining a few last times about Posh: "She's just so selfish. It's all about HER." As Jessica headed for the door, she was humming "I Belong to Me" from the latest Simpson CD.
