It's the Oscars again, and wow what a ceremony! There was no single host this year, so each award was handed out by a different celebrity. This means that there is a much higher chance that at least one of them will be accused of indecent assault in future, making the 2019 awards the edgiest yet.
Unsurprisingly the best picture went to Oscar Winner, a film about an aging actor trying to win an Oscar. Film critic Geoff VHS called it "a surefire Oscar winner”, although there have been allegations that Academy members were confused by the title, and may have voted for it by mistake.
Best actor award went to Jeff Lynnot, who played the lead role in the biopic film about the 1970s band the Electric Light Orchestra. Reviewers said his acting was "so believable, I didn't even notice when his fake beard fell off".
Other awards were equally breathtaking. The award for best credits went to Anthromorphic Objects, an animated film about things with faces on them, where the hilarious credit sequence featured talking staplers and planks of wood.
The award for best lighting went to multiple Oscar-winner the Sun. Unfortunately the Sun could not be present to pick up his award, so John Travolta will be personally delivering it on a NASA rocket.
