HOLLYWOOD - Maksim Chmerkovskiy says that he is trying to get the producers of his show, Dancing With The Stars to book Russia's all-girl punk rock band Pussy Riot.
Maksim, who is a native of the Ukraine, said that as popular as Pussy Riot is, it will definitely help to get the dance show's ratings off the ground.
Fellow dancer Derek "The Dancing Dude" Hough has expressed that he personally does not want the all-girl band appearing on DWTS.
He explained that they are a bad influence plus they have some of the most vulgar looking tattoos that he has ever seen, including Kat Von D and Laura Ingraham.
Hough further noted that each of the members of Pussy Riot cusses like a friggin sailor and there is really nothing feminine about them except maybe for their bikini lines.
The show's host Tom Bergeron stated that he doesn't care one way or another if they perform or not. He grinned and commented that he just wants his new sexy co-host Erin Andrews to wear short skirts, low cut blouses, and no underwear.
