Mother's Basement - With the rising popularity, and obsession with AMC's, "The Walking Dead," the airing of "Comic Book Men" has been pushed back to the wee hours of the morning. This is very concerning to very few in society.
When "Comic Book Men" started, it aired right after "The Walking Dead." Now, since AMC has decided to dedicate a five hour time slot on Sunday nights for "The Walking Dead," Kevin Smiths shows, "Comic Book Men" has become obsolete. Every Sunday AMC airs the previous weeks episode, then the new episode, then The Talking Dead, and following this, they air a repeat of all three. This leaves a hour for Comic Book Men to sneak in there at two in the morning.
Sadly, I could not find anyone to interview about this subject because Frankly, no one cares. Since the end of this article can not be filled with quotations, I will just insert cheesy comparisons to the dying of "Comic Book Men," to the premise of "The Walking Dead."
It is seemingly clear that "Comic Book Men" will not be returning from the dead. "Comic Book Men" may have come back a little when it came to Netflix, but the new season of "The Walking Dead" killed it again. Nobody wants to feel like a zombie at work the next day staying up to watch "Comic Book Men." There are less people who watch "Comic Book Men" then zombies featured in "The Walking Dead." Finally, why does Kevin Smith wear hockey jerseys all the time?
