WATERLOO, Iowa - Willie Nelson finished his third encore at the packed Crop Rotation Convention Center and he went backstage to his dressing room.
He spoke with Calcutta Cotton of Music Moments Magazine. She asked him how he had liked performing at the Grammy Awards Show.
The 80-year-old grinned that patented Willie Nelson grin and said he loved it and that he'd had more fun than a horny hound dog chasing down a couple of cocker spaniels in heat with sore paws.
He was then asked about the invitation he extended to Madonna to join him in his state-of-the-art tour bus for some relaxation, some Jack (Daniels), and some joints.
Willie raised his eyebrows and put his hands to his chest. He then told Calcutta that he wanted to let her be the first to know that he has fallen head-over-boot-heels in love with the 55-year-old New York singer.
He revealed that ever since Grammy night he has thought about Madonna and how great it would be for him and her to engage in a bit of mattress merriment.
IN LATE BREAKING NEWS: Madonna has said that although she is flattered at Willie's attention she likes boy toys who are much, much younger than her.
