BEVERLY HILLS - Jane Fonda has said that she does not appreciate Hanoi Jane, the new movie about her that deals with the Vietnam War.
Fonda, who starred in Barbarella, is now insisting that the photo of her sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun in North Vietnam was photoshopped.
The 75-year-old actress said that she did go to North Vietnam but it was to try and get American POW's released.
She said that she learned from a private investigator that a group of three Republican senators were behind the fake photo.
Jane said that the reason why all of the North Vietnamese soldiers took a liking to her was because she was a tremendously sexy woman and she handed out nude photos of herself to all of the officers and most of the soldiers.
SIDENOTE: Fonda noted that she wishes that the film executives had picked someone other than Jennifer Lawrence to portray her in the movie.
