BEVERLY HILLS - Leah Remini, who starred in the hit comedy show King of Queens with Kevin James, has reported a rash of threats from her former church.
Remini said that she quit the Church of The Scientific Method because she got tired of having to keep thousands of secrets that are written in the church listing of rules and regulations.
Leah stated that for example she was not allowed to say that she did not especially care for some of the hymns that she was required to sing in church.
She also revealed that she was required to donate $3,000 towards the church's yearly Christmas party which last year was held in Dubai, India.
And now the 43-year-old actress is reporting that she has received some threats from some of the older church members.
Remini was asked by Bedroom Pillow Talk if some of these members include Kirstie Alley, John Travolta, and Tom Cruise.
She hesitated to answer and expressed the fact that some of the older members can be quite arrogant, sarcastic, and downright vicious.
SIDENOTE: Leah has said that she plans to call up President Obama and ask him to have the CIA, the FBI, and the IRS look into this matter which she describes as highly un American.
