LOS ANGELES - Russell Brand recently remarked that even though he has had his share of ups and downs he is presently happier than a monkey on a Costa Rican banana plantation.

Brand who is not exactly noted for being politically correct or even correct as his stand up comedian friend Zydeco Dupree recently stated on The View has been selected to host a new game show on the Epitome Television Network.

The new show is titled So You Think You're A Binge Drinker? According to ETN spokeswoman Tansinella Wickovich, the concept for the show was created and developed with the assistance of Charlie Sheen.

Sheen will actually be listed in the shows credits as executive producer, creative consultant, and the shows announcer.

The word in Tinsel Town is that the producers originally wanted the host to be Whoopi Goldberg instead of Russell Brand. But when Goldberg refused to cut her dreadlocks the powers that be went with Brand.

Russell stated that on each episode two individuals; one a celebrity and one a non-celebrity will compete against each other in an initial beer drinking round.

The round will consist of questions about the economy, sports, the dog-eat-dog world of politics, and female characteristics.

The contestant who receives the highest score will then be pitted against the state of the art X-i-3000 Computer, which is the computer that has launched over 200 U.S. satellites into orbit.

The contestant and the computer will be asked questions about all kinds of music including rock, country, hip hop, polka, classical, and rap.

If the human can manage to defeat the X-i-3000 he or she will receive $18,000 and season's tickets to the NFL team of his or her choice.

In Other News. Zydeco Dupree writes in his book Trivia Territory that there are 217 different kinds of species of gnats.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
