California-Justin Bieber wants to have a baby with a surrogate to save an estimated $55 million dollars.
Bieber's financial advisor gave him the $55 million dollar estimate based on a total which includes lawyer's fees for himself and any future wife he may have. It also includes alimony, child support, private investigators, future legal problems with his ex-wife, and the prenuptial settlement.
The relationship that Bieber had with his mother, siblings, and grandparents gave him such comfort that he always knew he wanted to create a family of his own without the risk associated with divorce.
"When I read a news article about Rupert Murdoch's divorce settlement of $1.7 billion, I freaked out and I told myself it's not going to be me!" said Bieber.
Ricky Martin who went through a surrogate for the birth of his twins is a great inspiration to Bieber who says he wants his own babies to be as cute and as adorable as Ricky Martin's boys.
But for Bieber, it's the simplest way to start a family with a child of his own. He has been in serious romantic relationships, and once thought about buying an engagement ring for a girlfriend. She ended the relationship before he could propose.
"The good thing about a surrogate child is that I don't have to share my kid with anyone and my child won't experience the trauma of being taken out of one parent's home and placed into the home of the other parent during visitation rights." "I also don't want my kid in the custody of my ex-wife's boyfriend, or husband," Bieber continues.
He wants to donate sperm, he wants to pay for a donated egg, he wants to pay for six rounds of in vitro fertilization and he wants to pay for the care of the surrogate mother.
Lawyers say this is the best option to prevent any legal entanglements. The egg donor doesn't develop an attachment to an egg and she also gives up legal rights to it. Furthermore, the surrogate mother doesn't develop any attachments to the child she carries because it's not her genetic material.
During an interview, Bieber whipped out his iPhone and brought up photos of mothers walking down the street holding their toddler's hands. "I just thought these pics are so cute," he said. He wants a little hand of his own to hold.
