LOS ANGELES - The music world can be a magical place where unknown acts suddenly can become overnight sensations and where recognizable names can end up spiraling downward until they crash.
According to Cowbell Music Magazine's Chipper Caruso the latter seems to be the case with the only child of rock and roll legend Elvis Presley.
Lisa Marie, who is 44, has tried to follow in her famous daddy's footsteps but her feet are just not big enough. Where Elvis seemed to pull hit songs out of the air, his daughter can't even seem to buy a hit.
Many music critics have described Lisa Marie's voice as being a cross between a sudden thunderstorm and the noise a pogo stick makes as it bounces up and down.
Even Vice-President Joe Biden recently remarked at a White House Fundraiser that Lisa Marie Presley looks like her famous daddy but sings like Barney "The Lisp" Frank.
Lisa Marie's husband (#4) Michael Lockwood, 51, who plays guitar in her band, was asked about their recent 11-city concert tour. Lockwood made a cooing noise as he said that the tour was a total bomb.
He added that they were booked to play in big venues including The Santa Ana Winds Arena in Cucamonga, The Carburetor Coliseum in Detroit, and The Orange Seed Auditorium in Pensacola, but laughed as he said that they could have easily performed at the lawn and garden department of any Walmart in America.
Lockwood pointed out that the tour's opening act Camel Carl & The Desert Rag Headz received much more applause from the crowds than did Lisa Marie.
He then noted that all of the stress from the concert tour failure has caused Lisa Marie to enter into a depressed state. He confessed that her emotional situation is starting to affect their marriage especially in the kitchen department.
Lockwood further commented that their once proud rock and roll ship has now hit the rocks and they are desperately trying to bail out the water.
In Other News. The purple-haired Katy Perry was recently asked if her carpet matches the drapes. She blushed and replied by asking "Does Richard Simmons act like a sissy?"
