BUENA PARK, California - The stars of The Vampire Diaries, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev were recently seen walking hand-in-hand at the world famous Knotts Berry Farm.
The two were dressed in matching T-shirts that read "President O For 4 Mo." Ian was stopped by a youngster and asked to explain their T-shirt phrases.
Nina giggled and replied that it stands for President Obama for four more years in the White House. The fan who appeared to be about 8 or 9, said that she is too young to vote and told them that her mom and dad are voting for Mitt Romney.
Ian smiled and said that, that fact did not make her bad in his eyes. Nina grinned and quipped that it did make her bad in her eyes.
The little girl, who was later identified as Luxie Sally Dunnyboo of Hacienda Heights, stuck her tongue out at Dobrev and told her that she does not watch The Vampire Dairies.
"Good!" Nina replied, "You look more like the Bill O'Reilly, Sponge Bob Square Pants type of viewer."
"Who's Bill O'Reilly?" The little girl asked.
Dobrev looked at Ian who shrugged his shoulders. She then told Luxie that she thought it best that she does not tell her who he is so that she does not end up getting traumatized if she watches him.
Nina had to get a parting shot in and she told little Luxie that she was going to reveal a secret to her.
"You're pregnant and Ian is the father." Luxie remarked firmly.
"Ah no, but maybe your mama is pregnant with octuplets you horrible, little, evil, demon you." Nina fired back.
Dobrev then told her that her and Ian's secret is that President Obama has agreed to guest star on an upcoming episode of The Vampire Diaries.
The shows producer Manolo Middlezuck did reveal to Ian and Nina that the president will be portraying Amadeo Vonderheiden, a professional vampire hunter from Winnetka, Illinois, who travels to Mystic Falls and captures the notorious vampire sorceress Callista Grimryder who will be portrayed by Scarlett Johansson.
SIDENOTE: Ian and Nina are thrilled at the news that their show has just been named the number one show in Belgium, Belize, and Botswana.
