LOS ANGELES - Steven Tyler, at the age of 64, says he wants to get back to rocking and rolling with his band Aerosmith.
Tyler spoke with Buck Yazoo of Yippee-Ki-Yay Magazine about the band's soon-to-be-released album. "Lips" as he is known said that after going through about two dozen names the band members finally decided on the very appropriate title Just Some Old dudes Singing Some New Tunes.
He pointed out that one of the songs was written by former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and is titled, "Rockin' And Mockin' In Malibu."
Tyler told Yazoo that he really enjoyed being on American Idol and getting to sit next to the lusciously sexy Jennifer Lopez but added that he just got tired of telling every contestant that their song was "Beautiful, just beautiful."
He said that even host Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest kidded him that his "Beautiful, just beautiful" line was rivaling Randy "The Dawg" Jackson's obligatory remark of "Yo, yo, dawg that was just a little pitchy for me."
Steven stated that he has really missed being on the road and partying after concerts, doing the hokey pokey with the groupies, and sleeping in a different hotel bed every night.
He winked and said that he also missed the different kinds of 'vitamins' that were available on the concert tour.
