HOLLYWOOD - Well even Woody The Wonder Woodchuck who had correctly picked four of the five American Idol singers who have gone home was wrong as one of this year's favorites Colton Dixon was eliminated.
A total of 53 million votes were cast by a total of 9,107 viewers. According to Vodka Vermicelli of iRumors a little unidentified girl who lives in South Carolina voted for Elise Testone of South Carolina a total of 21,872 times.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: The little girl's name is Minnie Mimosa Corndibble, 11, and she lives in Denmark, South Carolina, in a trailer with her grandfather and grandmother Otto Bob and Flora Fawn Fluffyfrost.]
Colton found himself in the Bottom 3, along with Elise "Estrogen" Testone and Hollie "Little Dolly" Cavanaugh. Both Elise and Hollie had been in the Bottom 3 before whereas Colton had not.
Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest said that he was really surprised to see Dixon sitting in the Bottom 3, since he had clearly sung better than Testone and Cavanaugh.
The three American Idol judges Randy "The Dawg" Jackson, Jennifer "La Tush" Lopez, and Steven "Lips" Tyler all agreed. Even three of the five cameramen agreed that either Elise or Hollie should have been eliminated instead of Colton.
After the show Miss Vermicelli spoke with Colton Dixon and asked him to comment. At first Dixon said that he really had no comment. But then after thinking it over for a few minutes he replied that he feels he lost because of the fact that he had colored a strip of his hair in the front bright red.
Colton added that American Idol mentor Jimmy "The Cap" Iovine had told him that he wanted for him to lose the red hair strip or else he could end up in the Bottom 3.
Miss Vermicelli heard from an inside, unnamed, reliable source that Jimmy Iovine is involved in the registering of the votes that come in.
Of course the executives of American Idol denied that there was anything funny going on. But when Randy "The Dawg" was asked about it he grinned and said, "Yo, yo, yo, lissen up dude, I really don't know but I do know that both Elise and Hollie were very pitchy if ya know what I mean dawg."
Next week the six remaining American Idol contestants will be singing the songs of the Village People.
STORY FOOTNOTE: There is a rumor that the state of Arizona is planning on not showing American Idol next week because of the Village People and in its place it will instead show a rerun of the reality show The Real Housewives of Intercourse, Pennsylvania.
