SAN DIEGO - She walked into the American Idol audition room and sang her song becoming perhaps the most famous contestant to ever audition for the reality show.

Twenty-four-year-old Jane Carrey is the daughter of Jim Carrey. And the seasoned comedian is very proud of his offspring. Jane is presently an unemployed waitress and says that hopefully she can become the new American Idol.

According to an unnamed inside source with American Idol Jane unlike most contestants who are allowed to sing at least two verses of a song was stopped by AI Judge Randy "The Dawg" Jackson after only having sung seven notes.

He turned towards Jennifer "La Tush" Lopez and said that he liked her and that she sounds a lot like a young Celine Dion. J.Lo agreed adding that she also sounds like a young Whitney Houston.

Meanwhile Steven "Lips" Tyler remarked that if he closes his eyes she sounds a lot like an older Selena Gomez.

The three judges voted 3-0 and Jane received a yellow ticket to Hollywood.

She spoke with Ryan Seacrest outside the audition room and told him that she does not want to receive any preferential treatment just because she happens to be the extremely talented daughter of the extremely talented comedian Jim Carrey.

Seacrest said that he understood and assured her that she would be treated just like any of the other contestants.

He then invited Jane to have dinner with him and girlfriend Julianne Hough at The Lips of The Dastardly Dragon Chinese Restaurant in Coronado.

"The Screamin' Demon" Tyler and J.Lo also tagged along. "The Dawg" Jackson had to leave on account of he had to see someone about buying a pet porpoise.

In a related story. Las Vegas oddsmakers say that Jane presently has the best odds of winning this year's American Idol simply because of her daddy's fan base which includes millions of fans from every state in the union plus 117 countries throughout the world.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
