Today there were reports from the stricken vessel that hundreds of costumes worn by Strictly celebrities and dancers in the last series had been seen swirling aimlessly around the flooded ship's ballroom.
Among items picked up by sonar was a silver lurex jockstrap worn by Jason Donovan, 43; Harry Judd's purple sequin top from his rendition of Ravel's Bolero; Chelsee Healey's braided platinum hair extensions and Nancy dell'Oli's vampire fangs from her stint as the Queen of Halloweeen.
It's not known if the BBC will now pursue the series; some reports reckon they've lost nearly £5 million in last Friday's disaster, the worst in the hystery of maritime ballroom dancing.
Bruce Forsyth is 104.
