Motorcycle giant Harley-Davidson knows a target market when they see it, and the Baby Boomer market is no exception. In fact, their new line of mobility scooters is aimed squarely at older bikers because "once a Harley lover, always a Harley lover."
Many of the very same customers who bought Harleys during the days of love-ins and Woodstock are now unable to maneuver regular sized choppers and, it is for that reason, Harley-Davidson has come up with a line of lightweight mobility scooters called 'Boomers.'
Boomers come in a standard model that can be customized just like choppers from the 60's with hi-rise handlebars, drop seats with extra padding, and custom paint jobs.
Harley-Davidson says that sales are brisk, and, for a limited time, they are offering a free orange safety flag complete with skull and bones insignia with every purchase.
