Rumours that the restaurant chain Baytarns are about to introduce a restriction on fat people grew yesterday. It is alleged that all customers will have to "pass though a hoop" before getting access to the all you can eat facilities. Those too fat to get through will have to pay a £5 surcharge to cover the cost of their "exceptional capacity for gluttony"
The new policy could adversely affect approximately 30% of the UK population, however since over 70% of Baytarns customers are estimated to be clinically obese, the proportion of fatties getting their shameful comeuppance is likely to be higher.
A source living close to one of the restaurants commented: "These people are so fat they can barely pass through the door. It makes a lot of sense to limit their intake. Considering the health issues it is only for their own good".
