"40 bucks a month, and I'm watching PBS."

New York - Time Warner Cable announced a new stripped down package that will cost $39.99 a month, and will require new equipment to use on most digital televisions.

Time Warner is bragging about the benefits of this new package: more cable outages that last longer; less real channels, but more shopping channels; no sports; no customer service; and the customer pays for a $10 service fee for using their services.

The new package will start in New York, and if customers like it, and Time Warner is sure they will, it will available to the rest of the country after the new year.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
