An undercover reporter has been working undercover in a shop and discovered some quite literally shocking scams involving shop keepers, managers and even big supermarkets are even at it too, even.
According to the report, the prices marked on goods in shops are not what they actually cost and in some cases actually cost far less to produce or purchase from the original supplier.
Shopkeepers purchase goods in bulk at a greatly reduced rate and deliberately make things cost more when they sell them to the general public, even more shockingly, this is known as "good business" in some circles, circles frequented by an elite of producers, Suppliers and manufacturers.
The reporter also uncovered evidence of alleged government involvement, even to the point of them having a "trading standards" department that advise businesses how to do this more efficiently, they even have a word for it, they term this as "making a profit".
So remember, next time you go to buy something, ask the shop keeper what they paid for it. His answer may surprise you.
