Cyberspace - (Daily Ass Mess): Online information resource Wikipedia has been relegated to also-ran status after billions of canny net surfers turned to cutting edge website The Spoof! following recent controversy over obituaries of two well known US politicians.
Senators Robert Byrd and Edward Kennedy were last week flagged up by the wikisite as recently 'deceased', 'technically brain-dead' and/or 'teetering on the verge' of compulsory autopsy.
"Sure had it comin' to them!" was the official comment from Dave Skank, IT Editor of glam California publication LA FagHagSlagMag.
"Of course our own editorial policy at FagHag... has always been to to check any reportable facts and figures with The Spoof!" Skank continued.
"If only Jimmy Wales' cyberorgan had followed our lead! Then they would have realised that Kennedy has been 'in a Pentagon cryogenic stasis unit under Arlington Cemetery' since the Kopechne business back in 1969.
"As for Sen Robert Byrd, The Spoof's got it right on the button when it rates him as an entirely fictional character whose existence has been plagiarised UK Tory Party perjury jailbird/author Jeffrey Archer in his JFK hagiography WTF Shall We Tell the President?"
In 2007 Skank, 39, rejected a top copywriting postition in Karl Rove's fiction factory that made the headlines around cyberspace.
