In the boom years lots of folks fulfilled the dream of a vacation house. In the mountains, the beach or city condo, even those of average income felt like lords and ladies of a country manor. That was until the Depression Great of 2008.
One such couple, Lady and Lord Lavishlife Abovermeans, have been put out of their manor home for non payment and the shock has them in awe.
"Thank Gawd, we still have our primary dwelling! But when the weekend comes and the holidays we just sit around our 3,000 sq ft and ask ourselves what are we to do? If we have to stare at these 27 walls with pool, garden and barbeque patio with wet bar for much longer, we think we'll go mad!"
