Business has had a good year, and the reason is simple: more people are being proactive. "We've got more people being proactive and, as we all know, that grows the brand!" declared Miles Carruthers, CEO of Teleplexis International.
"I remember when clock watching was the norm. Those days are gone! The new paradigm is an aggressive model, with lots of proactiveness. Employees are taking ownership of so much now, I hardly can own anything before someone grabs it. It's part of their multi-tasking."
Carruthers also added that "The bottom line is being positively impacted by process improvement, and making solutions . . lots of them!" He attributed the improvement to "enhanced partnering. We're into trust building here. That's a feature that adds value!" and asserted that "we're sensitive to the market's needs, as well as our internal clients." In conclusion, while Mr. Carruthers stated that while most of his employees were "as dumb as baloney sandwiches" they "are all team players."
