Hong Kong - (Ass Mess): Mounting tension among banking giant HSBC's numerology consultants has reached paranoid levels according to Hong Kong sources watching Chinese market movements ahead of this weekend's fabled 7/7/07 date.
"In Chinese numerology the number seven represents lessons learned through loss.
"Our former CEO Sir John Bond crafted a momumental seventy seven billion dollar scam during the handover by the Brits of Hong Kong back to the Chinese ten years ago and we have been warned to expect major subpoenas in seven continents following predicted disasters this coming weekend," a HSBC board member admitted today.
"A preponderance of sevens can only spell trouble for the Hong Kong financial sector," one analyst said today.
