Microsoft Retail Store Unable to Open

Funny story written by Ducksley

Saturday, 2 March 2013

Two or three customers were disappointed this morning after a six-month old Microsoft retail store was unable to open for business.

"There was a sign on the locked door that said, '0x74041161 Non-system Error'," said one customer, 24-year-old Chiclet Donahue.

"I don't know what that means. I was here yesterday, and it was fine then, so I don't know what happened," she complained.

Jesus Wang, the store's manager, was equally perplexed.

"I couldn't open the store when I got here this morning. I thought maybe restarting it might help, so I drove home, then turned around and came back, but it still wouldn't open. It's very frustrating," he said. "I'll probably have to contact the Task Manager."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
