William Hague - My Fake Diary
Thursday, 5 April 2012
I've had to criticise Briton's who waste the time of my consular staff with "ludicrous requests" and "bizarre demands" while abroad, I'm afraid!
They included a caller who had lost their false teeth, and a tourist asking how to say "I love you" in Hungarian, and a chap working in Greece struggling to erect a chicken coop also called! Other examples included calls from Britons who could not find their false teeth, who were unhappy with their plastic surgery and whose jam would not set.
People should not call if their livestock needed checking, if they were looking for a dog minder, they lose their false teeth, or cannot find a dog-minder!
A light hearted diary entry for once, but true!
