My dear diary,

A week has passed since I last wrote in your velvety innards. Judy said we had to read some more books for next year's reading list, so that is what I have been doing.

I suggested Dr Suess maybe to difficult for some of our readers, but her indoors ignored all of my requests to see sense.

I love her, but she does my head in.
