What a nice way to end the year. Bert, aged 94, from memory the oldest ever contestant on DEAL OR NO DEAL.

Sadly for Bert and his family members e didn't walk away with the big prize, instead taking a deal on £5,000 - turned out he had £10,000 in the box so the banker beat him.

I just hope he lives long enough to spend it! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
