Ken Livingstone - My Fake Diary
Saturday, 4 August 2012
It seems I've sparked a furious row by claiming Boris Johnson's office could face corporate manslaughter charges over cyclist deaths.
Boris dismissed the remarks as an "outrageous" slur in the Sky News debate and insisted he was investing to make London's roads safer. He claimed that although 16 cyclists were killed last year the overall casualty rate was in decline because of a massive boost in cycling.
I told him: "When the police investigation is over, your office could be subject to corporate manslaughter charges."
Even the Lib Dem Brian Paddick said: "This Mayor has prioritised smooth traffic flow over the safety of pedestrians and cyclists on our roads. Boris Johnson's policy is killing cyclists."
I'm not finished yet!...
