Attended the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Stratford East London on Friday, and it was a great show, put on by director Danny Boyle.

I have to admit I'm getting a bit bored of all the public appearances after 15 months of marriage, not because they don't interest me, but if I take Pippa with me all the blokes swarm round her like flies round shit. If I don't take her, they're all asking me where she is...
This must be what it was like for every other Royal when Diana was alive...
