Ed Miliband is set to turn this November's police and crime commissioner elections into an effective referendum on the coalition's law and order policies - and has the campaigning power of Yours Truly on his side.

It must be a comfort to him, after the shabby way Blair and Brown treated him... god I hope Blair doesn't come back into British politics!

And the accusation that my office splurged £52000 on luxury hotels and meals was way off the mark... it was only £51940!
