I just thought I should confess that, as a West Ham fan, I couldn't take the pressure any longer and 'guided' Carlton Cole's 'back pass' through the legs of the hapless Birmingham goalkeeper, Ben Foster, into the net. This gives the Hammers a fighting chance of getting to Wembley with the away match at Birmingham to settle the tie.
It goes without saying that I should not intervene in this way but there are times when I Will.
