After two, depressed brooding years since my defeat in the general election.

I had just finished making my comeback to front line politics.

Addressing a packed marquee in Charlotte Square, I had given my critique of the SNP's plans for the constitution.

The esponses to my speech were not good.

But then again, I got the same responses years ago.

Bad innit?
