George Osborne - My Fake Diary
Saturday, 14 April 2012
Despite all the petty digging at my fiscal policies and personal lack of morals, the UK clung on to its gold standard credit rating yesterday in a timely economic boost. (Did that come out right?)
The influential credit ratings agency Standard and Poor confirmed that the AAA status would stay. It said the UK has a "wealthy, open, and diversified economy" supported by effective political institutions that can react quickly to economic challenges. "We expect economic policy to continue to focus on closing the fiscal gap!"
You see, all those who criticised me can eat their own words now!
